Wow, how depressing!

Professor Joseph Olson of Hemline University School of Law, St. Paul , Minnesota , points out some interesting facts concerning the Presidential election:

  • Number of States won by: Democrats: 19 Republicans: 29
  • Square miles of land won by: Democrats: 580,000 Republicans:2,427,000
  • Population of counties won by: Democrats: 127 million Republicans: 143 million
  • Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by: Democrats: 13.2 Republicans: 2.1

Professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory Republican won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of the country. Democrat territory mostly encompassed those citizens living ingovernment-owned tenements and living off various forms of government welfare..."

Olsonbelieves the United States is now somewhere between the "complacency and apathy" phase of Professor Tyler's definition of democracy, with some forty  percent of the nation's population already having reached the"governmental dependency" phase.

If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal invaders called illegals and they vote, then we can say goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years.

I dedicate this site to Jesus Christ, whose given wondrous gifts throughout my life & those blessings still abound, everywhere I look. I want to glorify & enjoy God by knowing & serving Jesus Christ, by living in a right relationship with myself, my family, & those around me. I want to share with others why I confess Jesus Christ the son of God, as my personal Savior.

I would also like to say that America is a Nation that was founded on Christian principles, By Christian people & whose very existence depended upon Christian morality. I hope everyone that visits will come away with something that brightens, enlightens, & touches their hearts.

Separation of Church & State

From Bud Carter

The so called separation of church and state has always been aconfusing issue with me, so I did a little studying and have found thefollowing. I am not saying that there is not more, just that so far this is what Ifound. In 1801 a group of Baptists in Connecticut were alarmed over a rumorthat was spreading throughout the Northwest that the CongregationalDenomination was about to be Established as the National Denominatiom of The United States. In other words the Baptists, Presbyterians, Methodists, and any other denominations would be deemed inferior or would be outlawed altogether. They had heard horror stories from their parents and grandparents about state established religion in England. Those who refused to follow the dictates of the Church of England were subjected to imprisonment and torture. So they fled England not to be Free From Religion, but to have Freedom of Religous Expression. Naturally, when this first generation of Americans heard that quite possibly there was about to be a Church of the United States, they were understandably alarmed. As a result they contacted then-President Thomas Jefferson about the rumor. Jefferson allayed their fears in a letter addressed to the Danbury Baptist on January 1,1802 : I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should Make no Law respecting an establishment of Religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, thus building a wall of Separation Between Church and State. This can be found in, Thomas Jefferson, quoted in Merril D. Peterson, ed,JEFFERSON WRITINGS, New York: Literary Classics of the United States.1989, 510 Also found at

Also out of the 56 men who attended the Constitutional Convention and formulated our nation's guiding document , 53 were of The Christian FaithGeorge Washington wrote this; "Let my heart, gracious God, be so affected with Your glory and majesty that I may...Discharge those weighty duties which Thou requires of me...I have called on Thee for pardon and foregiveness of sins...For the sacrifice of Jesus Christ offered upon the cross for me...Thou gavíst Thy Son todie for me; and hast given me assurance of salvation"

This can be found in, George Washington, quoted in W. Herbert Burk,Washington's Prayers{1907}; William J JOHNSON George Washington the CHRISTIAN, New York: Abington Press, 1919,24-35.Found at.http://jagger.me.berkely.edu/~lawton/gwprayer.html

There is a lot more, but this shall do for a start.
